Meet Connect EVO, the device that controls your roller shutter, keeps watch over your window's security, looks after your home's air quality and manages solar control on its own, without you having to touch a thing.

What is Connect EVO

Connect EVO is a smart device for windows with roller shutters that brings together, in a single unit, three functions that normally need separate equipment: roller shutter control, window security and air quality. You manage it from the MySmartWindow app or with its physical buttons, so you choose how to use it at any moment.

A third the size of Connect-2, with more technology

Connect EVO takes up a third of the space of Connect-2, its predecessor. The smaller size doesn't mean giving anything up: inside, it runs WiFi 6, Bluetooth and Matter, a standard designed so that connected-home devices speak the same language.

On the outside, the interface is simple: two buttons, Up and Down, and an LED that confirms every action.

Roller shutter control: buttons, app and schedules

Connect EVO gives you several ways to move the roller shutter:

• Short press: the shutter makes a full run in that direction. If it is already moving, a short press stops it.
• Press and hold: the shutter moves only while you hold the button and stops when you release it, ideal for setting it at exactly the height you want.
• MySmartWindow app: the same shutter, from your phone.
• Schedules: the shutter can move on its own at the time you set.

On top of that, the real-time digital twin shows in the app a representation synchronised with the actual position of the shutter, so you know where it is without looking.

You can also reverse the controls to change the direction of travel, both in the app and on the push-button, and enable lock mode so that the push-button only works from the app. The + version adds obstacle detection while lowering, and requires rigid slats.

Control a whole room or a whole home

Connect EVO can also move several shutters at once. With the Master Room and Master Home services enabled in the app, you hold both buttons for 4 seconds to enter multifunction mode. Then, depending on whether you press Up or Down, a short press moves all the shutters in the room and a long press moves all the shutters in the home.

These group commands need an internet connection, because they travel through the cloud to the rest of the devices.

Security: a window that alerts you

With Connect EVO, your window stops being a passive element:

• Opening alert: the system tells you if the sash is open.
• Break-in alert: it warns you if the window is being forced.
• Air-conditioning cut-off: if the window is opened, the system switches off the air conditioning.
• Offline mode: even without a connection, the window reacts if it detects someone forcing it.

Air quality: know when to ventilate

Connect EVO keeps an eye on the air in your home with four measurements:

• Humidity: a precise alert so you know when to ventilate.
• Temperature: information to help you judge comfort.
• CO2: it tells you about levels that are dangerous to health.
• VOC: information on volatile organic compounds.

That way, opening the window is no longer a matter of guesswork: you have the data to decide when to ventilate and when not to.

Automatic solar control

Because Connect EVO controls the roller shutter, it can also take care of solar control on its own, without you having to touch anything. Together with schedules and the MySmartWindow app, the shutter works in your favour all day long.
